Luke Robinson - Patriotic Service. In September, 1781, Luke Robinson's Anson County, North Carolina, plantation was the rendezvous for the American Colonial Militia call up of General Griffith Rutherford. Luke provided supplies and /or provisions for 1,200 infantry and calvary of the Continental and militia forces bivouacked on his land.

William Taylor - Privateer and member of the Beverly, Essex County, Massachusetts, Committee of Safety & Correspondence. Private, Captain Larkin Thorndike's 1st Beverly Company which marched on the Concord Alarm on April 19, 1775. Served in Captain Joseph Rea's Company, entering service on August 5, 1776, in defense of the seacoast; served at the Lines at Beverly by order of Council of July 20, 1776, and was discharged October 28, 1776.
