Americanism Elementary School Poster Contest
|
This contest will be directed at students in the 4th or 5th grades, depending on which grade year the American Revolution is taught in their educational system. The National Society Elementary School Poster Contest will stimulate interest in American History in support of the Fourth or Fifth Grade Curriculum.
The topic for 2010 - 2011 year's contest is "The Battle of Cowpens".

Middle School Brochure Contest
|
The Middle School Brochure Contest is a contest for 8th Graders. The contest is to create a tri-fold brochure out of an 8½ x 11 piece of paper while following the prescribed guidelines.
The topic for 2010-2011 year's contest is: "The Battle of Bunker Hill"

The Joseph S. Rumbaugh Historical Oration Contest
|
Purpose Of The National Contest
- To bring American History to the high school student and focus on events of today.
- To draw an intelligent relationship between the past and the present.
- To clearly demonstrate freedom of opportunity as a basic right of our national heritage.
- To place a positive emphasis on the plans of our founding fathers.
- To emphasize justice under law in the free society.
- To illustrate how the Revolutionary War influenced our freedom of expression.

The contest is designed to give high school students an opportunity to explore events that shaped American History.

Arthur M. & Berdena King Eagle Scout Scholarship
|
Open to all Eagle Scouts who are currently registered in an active unit and have not reached their 19th birthday during the year of application. (The application year is the calendar year, 01 Jan. to 31 Dec.)

ROTC/JROTC Recognition Program

This award is presented to ROTC or JROTC cadets who are selected for having a high degree of merit with respect to leadership qualities, military bearing and general excellence.
